Ivanhoe Aqua Power Swim Club (IAP) was founded in 1957 as the Heidelberg Swimming and Life Saving Club.
IAP aims to build for our members a lifelong relationship with swimming. A core value of our club providing an environment where all swimmers can swim their best. IAP caters for a range of swimming stages and abilities.
Our club offers morning (before school), afternoon/evening (after school) and Saturday morning training sessions across the pool, gym, and dryland. We also offer a school holiday swimming program for both squad members and school holiday only swimmers.
Squad Pathways
Ivanhoe Aqua Power offers a comprehensive squad program including Pre Squad, Junior, Intermediate, Target, Junior Performance, Senior and Performance Development levels.
Facilities
Most of the training at IAP is at Ivanhoe Girls Grammar School (IGGS). IAP also trains at other locations, providing alternative timetable options families and enabling some extension programs for our higher level squads. Our current venues include:
